How to help
Here are organizations doing good in Los Angeles so you can learn more about the homeless crisis and become an advocate for our neighbors.
Young people to the front
YP2F is a reimagined think tank, one that combines advocacy with outcomes. We are a research and policy lab that cultivates a platform for the amplification of youth voices and in turn, strengthens the system and ultimately gets us closer to making youth homelessness as rare and brief as possible
Safe place for youth
S.P.Y. prioritizes low barriers for entry, harm-reduction, a trauma-informed approach, and the provision of a safe, supportive environment. We do this through a continuum of care that includes street outreach, access center services, case management, health and wellness, and education and employment programs.
My Friend's place
They offer a comprehensive continuum of services to 1,000 youth experiencing homelessness between the ages of 12 and 25, and their children, each year, helping our young people who are experiencing homelessness to move toward wellness, stability and self-sufficiency.
